Can Healthcare Reform Influence Your Investments?

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the reform plan would cost nearly $900 billion over the next 10 years. But the more worrying issue is: how will that affect financial markets? Fed not acting

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke may claim the recession is very much over, but Fed is not acting like we're in recovery. Experts agree that Fed will keep the rates at the current level of 0 to 0.25%, whereas in normal circumstances national bank would raise rates as the recovery comes along. In principle, Fed is using its tools (mainly rates) to keep the balance between inflation and unemployment - by reducing rates in times of recession and raising it in times of economic boom.
